Popcorn would without a doubt come to mind as the Midwest’s favorite food. The nine principal popcorn-producing states in the popcorn belt region include states like Illinois and Indiana. Popcorn has been designated as the state snack of Illinois, and it is popular in the Midwest.
In this video they travel to Preferred Popcorn, an Indiana-based network of farms that annually grows 100 million pounds of popcorn. That is a lot of popcorn!
